The Disease Ontology Knowledgebase (DO-KB) provides access for exploring integrated disease mechanism and feature knowledge, semantically-defined within the Human Disease Ontology.

Initial Concept
The Disease Ontology website was outdated and needed a substantial refresh. To modernize their brand and align it with current design trends, I utilized Bootstrap for seamless developer handoff. I designed images to evoke a more abstract feel related to classification and networks. I also updated the typography from Lucida to a contemporary font, giving the site a more professional and polished appearance. Currently, the site is a mix of old and new as the design transition is still in process.
